Description

Speed networking events allow young people the opportunity to visit a number of organisations and find out about a range of employability projects in a short space of time. All the organisations who attend will have prepared a 6 – 8 minute talk about what they can offer young people after leaving school.

How will it work?

Over the 90 minutes young people will be able to visit about 8-9 stalls in 10-12 minute slots .

Pre-event activity

All five Local Regeneration Agencies across Glasgow will spend a morning in each secondary school.  They will deliver an ‘employability’ programme with the aim of helping young people to prepare for speed networking events and future Job Fairs. The programme will also help young people with preparation of CVs, employers’ expectations, how to prepare for interview, application forms and presentation skills
